I've been embalming for 16 years with 2 years taken out to work as a mortuary technician back in '99. In that time I have had many great successes with some difficult cases and reconstructions. At weekends I can normally be found in the wilds climbing, camping, bushcrafting, shooting, fishing or just playing soldiers with the RAF Regiment. |

I have been in the Funeral Service for 23 years and qualified as an embalmer in 1992. I worked for the Global disaster team, and traveled to the Comoros Islands to attend to the victims of a plane crash, and also went to Afghanistan on behalf of another funeral director to embalm a deceased for repatriation.
I was Chairman of the Southern Division of the British Institute of Embalmers in 1997 and I am an active committee member for the Division, where I hold the position of Social Secretary. I am an Examiner for the International Examination Board of Embalmers, and also an Accredited Tutor. I am the co tutor with Maria New at the “London School of Embalming” which we started last year.
